SCAI Therapeutics Successfully Completes Phase 1 Clinical Trial for Wet AMD Eye Drop Candidate ‘SCAI-005’

Seoul, South Korea – SCAI Therapeutics announced on January 27th that it has successfully demonstrated excellent safety and tolerability in the domestic Phase 1 clinical trial of its drug candidate ‘SCAI-005,’ a treatment for neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration (nAMD), also known as wet AMD. These results validate the potential of an eye drop formulation for wet AMD and signal a green light for entry into Phase 2 trials.
